About Renee Gamela

Renée Gamela is the Senior Advisor and Communications Director for U.S. Representative Richard Hanna of New York. She has worked on Rep. Hanna’s official staff since he took office in 2011. In addition to her role as Rep. Hanna’s spokeswoman, Ms. Gamela also advises Rep. Hanna on women’s issues. Prior to working on Capitol Hill, she was a journalist in upstate New York. In 2007, the Associated Press named her Young Journalist of the Year in New York.
